There is no doubt that 2Pac has talent. 2Pac was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from 2Pac and Thug Life: Volume i together. There were many famous songs of 2Pac available. Thug Life: Volume i touched my soul like nothing else.
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Thug Life: Volume i.
Simple and heartfelt closing track Don’t Get It Twisted closes Thug Life: Volume i on a high note. Shit Don’t Stop is probably one of 2Pac’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Stay True is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. How Long Will They Mourn Me is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. In Under Pressure full palet of sound is used by 2Pac to accentuate the presentation. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Cradle To The Grave is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Thug Life: Volume i. Str8 Ballin is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Thug Life: Volume i have ended.
