After debuting at No. 1 last week, Aion’s album Midian falls to No. 2 with 508,000, a sales slide of 78%. It’s natural for Aion to take a stab at ‘01 - Overture’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. Self-described as Metal: Gothic with lots of words, Aion comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Smart music for smart people.
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Midian.
02 - Bleeding Heart is one of these floating songs. I now have 03 - Land Of Dreams as one of my personal favorites. 04 - The Anthem Of Victory is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Midian. Aion rocks harder than ever with 05 - Temple Of Love. I can’t stop playing 06 - Collapse. 07 - The Lord - This one makes me want to not only sing along. 08 - Birth is the albums biggest surprise. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
