This is the first studio album from America since bad diagnosis in 1994. Since completing 1994’s ‘Young Moon’, America fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. America was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from America and Hourglass together. Smart music for smart people.

Hope (5:21) - awsome. Sleeper Train - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Mirror To Mirror is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Garden Of Peace was the first single release from the album Hourglass. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. I loved Whole Wide World the first time I heard it. Close To The Wind is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Hourglass have ended. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The song Everyone I Meet ending is my favorite… so catchy! Charming song, great melody.
