Assassin’s debut, ‘Ecrire Contre L’Oubli’, does not fit easily into one genre. While no new Assassin album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in North America. Since Assassin last CD (Ecrire Contre L’Oubli) on Savoy Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. Enjoy the show.
- Okay, I just talked about depth.
L’undaground s’exprime (chapitre 3) (9:30) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. L’ombre du silence which is my favorite is a truly Assassin sounding song. Assassin allows each song to breathe and flourish. Once Ou va se diriger ton stylo? gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Sally is nothing but pure genius. Le temoin - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Strong, powerful vocals of Assassin in Micro chez l’ennemi are very impressive. Le temoin (Instrumental) is a fine track on any terms. Ou va se diriger ton stylo (Instrumental) is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Some of the arrangements found on Ecrire Contre L’Oubli are surprisingly edgy.
