Lead single “Body MF Count” and “Masters Of Revenge” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Body MF Count, I had to have a good Body Count cd. Body Count was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Body Count and Born Dead together. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array

This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Killin’ Floor is almost impossible to review. This song may be the most meaningful. Drive By gives good insight into the truths. Last Breath presents the excellent mix of instruments on Born Dead. I now have Hey Joe as one of my personal favorites. The first time I listened to Shallow Graves I was struck by its amazing sound. Surviving The Game is nothing but pure genius. Who Are You is simple, dignified and effective, Body Count refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Some call Street Lobotomy from Born Dead as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I like to sing along with Born Dead, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes.
