Boss Hog was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Boss Hog and Boss Hog together. Since completing 1995’s ‘Winn Coma’, Boss Hog fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Boss Hog last CD (Boss Hog) on Columbia Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Sick
sets the tone for the entire album.
I love the melodic melody of Sick and to this day it makes me feel good. In Beehive Boss Hog spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Ski Bunny - For me, this is the best of the album. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The sound in I Dig You is really warm and Boss Hog’s signature voice is still very much present. Don’t judge Try One on the first listening. One listen to the sheer beauty of What The Fuck was all I needed. After few listenings I started to like White Sand more and more. I was truly moved when I heard I Idolize You. The opening track Punkture is very much like you would expect from other albums. Strawberry motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Texas catches attention immediately, Music of Sam is gentle, never overbearing.
