‘When Disaster Strikes’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Busta Rhymes was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Busta Rhymes and When Disaster Strikes together. Since completing 1997’s ‘Intro’, Busta Rhymes fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is The Whole World Lookin’ At
is a very catchy tune.
The Whole World Lookin’ At - This is a very lively song. Turn It Up Rmx has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. I was truly moved when I heard When Disaster Strikes. So Hardcore one of the best in my collection. Listening to Get High Tonight you can hear that Busta Rhymes has still amazing chemistry with band members. Some of the arrangements found on When Disaster Strikes are surprisingly edgy. Put Your Hands Where My… is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I’ve found myself listening to It’s All Good back to back and back many times. There’s Not A Problem to me is the best you can get from Busta Rhymes. We Could Take It Outside actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Busta Rhymes’s face. The first time I listened to Rhymes Galore I was struck by its astounding sound. Things We Be Doin’ For $ P1 is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Don’t judge Things We Be Doin’ For $ P2 on the first listening. One is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Music in Dangerous is gorgeous as in all tracks of When Disaster Strikes. In The Bodyrock the music gets its power. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Only one song from When Disaster Strikes named Outro really got me.
