Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of CHICO and the Gypsies on ‘EL RITMO GITANO’. For older fans VAGABUNDO will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing EL RITMO GITANO, I had to have a good CHICO and the Gypsies cd. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is EL VERANO
- a classic song.
EL VERANO defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. LLAMAS LA is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. MARIA as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I was truly moved when I heard MARINA. OH MAMA make listening to CHICO and the Gypsies like being in some sort of time warp. Voice of CHICO and the Gypsies in PATIO is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. SONIA is a medium tempo tune. You can find feelings on this piece of art.
