Tu Verras (O Que Sera) is simple, dignified and effective, Claude Nougaro refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Cecile Ma Fille - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Los Angeles Eldorado hits the heart. Le Cinema is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Claude Nougaro must have run out of lyrics on the next track Il Faut Touner La Page. Claude Nougaro emotions are reflected through Quatre Boules De Cuir. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Armstrong. Vive L’Alexandrin is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
