There were many famous songs of Daevid Allen available. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Daevid Allen’s album Dreamin’ a Dream falls to No. 2 with 968,000, a sales slide of 52%. Since Daevid Allen last CD (Dreamin’ a Dream) on Blue Note Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. Unappreciated gift to Rock
Simple and heartfelt closing track closes Dreamin’ a Dream on a high note.
Brothers - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Came To Find You is the albums biggest surprise. Dear Friends is perfect. Music of Fire Becomes Her is gentle, never overbearing. No Daevid Allen song has come close to capturing my attention as Garden Song did. Daevid Allen is hitting on all cylinders in High Points. No One’s Slave is marvelous song though, very addictive. Daevid Allen is one of artists that allow his songs like Sittin In The Teashop to stand on their own and be heard. This is one hell of a track. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I like Wotsa Use because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
