It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Deee-Lite energies, virtually a rebirth. Deee-Lite’s debut, ‘Sampladelic Relics and Dancefloor Oddities’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as House with lots of words, Deee-Lite comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
is just simply stunning.
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Music Selector Is The Soul Reflector as a highlight of Sampladelic Relics and Dancefloor Oddities contains a ton of cool melodies. D.M.T - To me, this is the best song on the Sampladelic Relics and Dancefloor Oddities. Mind Melt rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. No Deee-Lite song has come close to capturing my attention as Call Me did. A great put together song. After you’ve listened to Goodbeatapella, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Good Beat have really caught my ear and imagination. Say Ahh.. - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. I like I Won T Give Up because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. I like the idea behind Won T You Listen To What The Dj S Spinning. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Musically Heart Be Still is superior to other tracks in Sampladelic Relics and Dancefloor Oddities. First time I heard Loveapella was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Power Of Love is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Runaway - A nice song. Bittersweet Loving is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Pussycat Meow is a good listen every once in a while.
