There is so much to love about Diamond Head, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from Diamond Head since bad diagnosis in 1997. Now signed to Diamond Head’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Lightning to the Nations” leads Diamond Head’s back-to-school campaign. Diamond Head “Lightning to the Nations” is an amazing album.
is probably the highlight of the album.
Prince (6:26) a good melody. I hope to keep hearing Diamond Head works for a long time to come. Am I Evil? without a doubt is the standout song of Lightning to the Nations. Sweet and Innocent is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: It’s Electric, which shows, blatantly, how much Diamond Head has evolved as a singer. A great put together song. The sound of Streets of Gold is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Shoot Out the Lights is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Lightning to the Nations have ended. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Play it Lould gives good insight into the truths. Diamond Lights - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. We Won’t Be Back makes a person feel cool. From the moment you listen to I Don’t Got you’re hooked. It’s Electric (Remix) is one of my favorite songs by Diamond Head.
