Think Like a Girl isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. five years ago, Diana King briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Still”. There is so much to love about Diana King, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Exciting stuff.
I like because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
Still - another great track from the Think Like a Girl album. Wicked is a very catchy tune. Once you hear New Galfriend, you will listen to it over and over. Get Think Like a Girl and turn on Tenderness if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Supa-Lova-Bwoy marked the continuation of Diana King in style evolution. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Best song on the album, love it. Mi Coffee is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Lyrics of Love Yourself are precise and evocative. This track is clearly meant to showcase Diana King’s vocal abilities. The opening track L-L-Lies is very much like you would expect from other albums. Think Like A Girl is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen.
