This is one of the best Cd’s Die Laughing has dropped to date. This is the first studio album from Die Laughing since bad diagnosis in 1996. Self-described as Rock: Gothic with lots of words, Die Laughing comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Glamour and Suicide.
Some call from Glamour and Suicide as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
Firedance can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Die Laughing is all about. Hypocrisy - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Glamour and Suicide is a fine track on any terms. Harlequin (Unmasked) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. After you’ve listened to Masquerade, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. First time I heard Heaven (Into Eternity) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
