ten years ago, Dom and Roland briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Mechanics”. Since completing 1997’s ‘Prisms’, Dom and Roland fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It has been ten years Dom and Roland’ last studio CD, “Mechanics / Prisms” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I wish that “Mechanics / Prisms” album was instrumental.
is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Dom and Roland’s vocal abilities.
