Since EL BOSSO and DIE PING PONGS last CD (Komplett!) on Savoy Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lead single “Immer Nur Ska” and “Komm Schon” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On Komplett! album, EL BOSSO and DIE PING PONGS have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. If I may, I suggest “Immer Nur Ska”. That one song is amazing!
is one of the best records ever.
Komm Schon (2:53) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Mieser Wicht good vocals. Wo Ist Diese Stadt is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I came to like Ich Sehe Was…. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of EL BOSSO and DIE PING PONGS. I like Wilhelm Hat’s Schwer because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Verliebt defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. After about the third Mafia Tanz listen through, I began to believe this song is EL BOSSO and DIE PING PONGS’s essence. Song Ich Bin Touri is actually a funny song. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Der Mann Mit Bart Und Brille rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Aposkalypse - A catchy, upbeat tune. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Schrunz - I like this one. Shame & Scandal hits the heart. Nur Ein Spiel is really the reason why I recommend buying Komplett!.
