Since Elend last CD (Lecons De Tenebres) on Capitol Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Elend since bad diagnosis in 1994. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Elend energies, virtually a rebirth. I Love Lecons De Tenebres from start to finish!

I can’t stop playing Chanting. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Into Bottomless Perdition. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Deploration. Infernal Beauty is the most memorable and astounding. Lucifer to me is the best you can get from Elend. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Lecons De Tenebres is Eclipse. The Reign Of Chaos and Old Night is a great opener for Lecons De Tenebres. I think The Emperor is the best song Elend has ever done.
