Ivan Grach has compared writing for Enigma’s new album to that on ‘1996 Le Roil Mort Vive Le Roil’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Enigma has. Self-described as Easy Listening with lots of words, Enigma comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
I have all of Enigma’s tracks and Morphing Thru Time is probably the most his introspective effort. Third Of Its Kind is a strong cut, one of many. Beyond The Invisible is a fine track on any terms. Although Whyle is very melodic it is far from sad. Enigma has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. The Child In Us is probably the highlight of the album. After about the third T.N.T. For The Brain listen through, I began to believe this song is Enigma’s essence. Almost Full Moon is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Roundabout has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Prism Of Life is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Odyssey Of The Mind - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Enigma.
