On Buried Treasure album, Erasure have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Erasure’s debut, ‘Buried Treasure’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “Top Of The Pops Theme” and “Always [acoustic]” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is in perfect progression from Erasure!
is one of my favorite songs by Erasure.
This song may be the most meaningful. Sono Luminus [demo] - A nice song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Rock Me Gently [demo] is the most memorable and excellent. My Foolish Heart [live] - Erasure first major hit. Rain [demo] is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
