On Another Lesson In Violence album, Exodus have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Another Lesson In Violence carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Since Exodus last CD (Another Lesson In Violence) on SixSteps records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. Enjoy the show.
is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Pleasures Of The Flesh (8:15) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I like the agression and power of And Then There Were None. Piranha is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Seeds Of Hate had me crying as I was able to relate so well. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Brain Dead is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Another Lesson In Violence. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Exodus. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. As always, Exodus’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Strike Of The Beast is almost impossible to review.
