Now signed to G.B.H.’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Punk Junkies” leads G.B.H.’s back-to-school campaign. This disc has all of the essential G.B.H. classics. sixteen years ago, G.B.H. briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Junkies”. I wish that “Punk Junkies” album was instrumental.
I was truly moved when I heard .
Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. All of songs on Punk Junkies and have something to say letting alone Impounded. Harmony is one of the best records ever. Tokyo After Dark gives taste of what makes G.B.H. special as a musician. Shakin’ Hand With The Machine is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Although Don’t Drag Me Back is very melodic it is far from sad. One listen to the sheer beauty of Break The Chains was all I needed. Kangaroo Court is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Stormchaser - My least favorite song on this album. Hole is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Damn Good Time is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. G.B.H. emotions are reflected through Cryin’ (On The Hard Shoulder). Civilised I just LOVE this mix! One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Lowering The Standard because the melody in the chorus is so good. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Outro - A catchy, upbeat tune.
