Since Hallucinogen last CD (The Lone Deranger) on Capitol Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Hallucinogen has talent. The Lone Deranger isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. One of Hallucinogen’s best albums yet.
It’s such an underrated song.
Demention is a very catchy tune. Once you hear Deranger, you will listen to it over and over. Hallucinogen has astounded me with this amazing track. Horrorgram makes a person feel cool. This song stands out greatly from the others. Sharling(Remix) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Lone Deranger have ended. This track is clearly meant to showcase Hallucinogen’s vocal abilities. Trancespotter is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
