Betty is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Helmet. Helmet had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
After about the third listen through, I began to believe this song is Helmet’s essence.
I can’t stop humming along I Know. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Get Betty and turn on Milquetoast if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Tic is the more seemingly obscure song on Betty that bear up best to repeated listening. Rollo - I like this one. Street Crab is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Charming song, great melody. It’s such an underrated song. Beautiful Love has a fun tempo. From the moment you listen to Speechless you’re hooked. The Silver Hawaiian is possibly the best song Helmet has come up. Overrated hits the heart. Sam Hell is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood.
