Self-described as Country with lots of words, Howard Levy comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Old Country’ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Howard Levy has talent. Howard Levy “The Old Country” is an amazing album.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Howard Levy’s vocal abilities.
Nutbuster (Nauseef) is worth the money. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. The Old Country (Levy, Nauseef…) - A classic Howard Levy track. Lametation (Abou-Khalil) - For me, this is the best of the album. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Howard Levy sings his heart out in Difficult Crossing (Levy, Naus…). Jovana Jovanke (Traditional Ma…) - To me, this is the best song on the The Old Country. The Origin of Insects (Levy, N…) is one of the best records ever. Still Light, But Turning Dark is the first taste of the new album. Dancing on the Moon (Levy) is absolutely incredible. Lounge de la Frontera (Levy, N…) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
