This disc has all of the essential Jeff Mills classics. Purposemaker Compilation isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Purposemaker Compilation carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. The Dancer and Casa is really good.
- This one has a powerful beat and a good melody.
Casa - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Jeff Mills. The Bells is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Reverting is a fine track on any terms. The song Alarms ending is my favorite… so catchy! It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Outsiders, which shows, blatantly, how much Jeff Mills has evolved as a singer. Cubango - a classic song. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Paradise on Purposemaker Compilation is solid and easy to listen to. From the moment you listen to Masterplan you’re hooked. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Within the first few notes of Fuzz Dance it’s perfectly clear that Jeff Mills is living this song. I listened to the opening track Tango and liked it a lot. There is gorgeous mix of music in Captivate.
