Lead single “Takt 1-11″ and “Takt 12-61″ start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Karlheinz Stockhausen. While no new Karlheinz Stockhausen album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Asia. Such great and happy songs.
I like to sing along with , though I mess up the lyrics sometimes.
When listening to Takt 12-61, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. I came to like Takt 62-70. Lyrics of Takt 71-88 are precise and evocative. Takt 89-108 is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Musically Takt 109-120 is superior to other tracks in Mantra. Takt 121-131 is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Takt 132-151 very upbeat. Karlheinz Stockhausen is one of artists that allow his songs like Takt 152-188 to stand on their own and be heard. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Mantra is Takt 189-211. I hope to keep hearing Karlheinz Stockhausen works for a long time to come. In Takt 238-261 the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Takt 262-281 is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Takt 324-444 is the album’s biggest hit, I think. No Karlheinz Stockhausen song has come close to capturing my attention as Takt 445-487 did. This is one hell of a track. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Nice and different song. I can’t stop playing Takt 609-637. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Takt 656-672 is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Takt 673-687 is beautiful, yet underrated track. Takt 688-854 - A catchy, upbeat tune. Karlheinz Stockhausen allows each song to breathe and flourish.
