It’s natural for Kocani Orkestar to take a stab at ‘L’orient Est Rouge’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. [L’orient Est Rouge] carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On [L’orient Est Rouge] album, Kocani Orkestar have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Smart music for smart people.
I find myself hearing bits of here and there throughout my waking hours.
Doise is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Ibraim Odja gives taste of what makes Kocani Orkestar special as a musician. Burkan Cocek has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Ederlezi Avela is a astounding sing-along. Sevdah Hikmet is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Sunet Oro hits the heart. Dervis Oro is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Ciganka - Okay, I just talked about depth. Maxutu which is my favorite is a truly Kocani Orkestar sounding song. Edinaesetorca is cool song though, very addictive. In Djelem, Djelem full palet of sound is used by Kocani Orkestar to accentuate the presentation.
