Jordi Savall last CD (Battalia a 10) on Sparrow Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s natural for Le Concert des Nations, con. Jordi Savall to take a stab at ‘Lamento der Verwundten Musquetirer: Adagio’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. Battalia a 10 is not something you should pass up.
Listening to you can hear that Le Concert des Nations, con. Jordi Savall has still amazing chemistry with band members.
Put Die Schlacht into car stereo for your highway driving Aria has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Presto is one of the more up-tempo songs on Battalia a 10. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Presto is pretty funky and mellow. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Sonata is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
