It has been six years Linda Ronstadt’ last studio CD, “Santiago” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On the Thailand charts, superstar Linda Ronstadt’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Linda Ronstadt was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Linda Ronstadt and Santiago together. One of Linda Ronstadt’s best albums yet.

Pilgrimage To Santiago: Arku-Dantza/Arin-Arin is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I now have Pilgrimage To Santiago: El Besu (The Kiss) as one of my personal favorites. Pilgrimage To Santiago: Nao Vas Ao Mar, Toino (Don’t Go To The Sea, Toino) is a gorgeous, simple song by Linda Ronstadt at the top of his game. Pilgrimage To Santiago: Dum Paterfamilias/Ad Honorem is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Dueling Chanters is probably one of Linda Ronstadt’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Galician Overture is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Santiago. Guadalupe is a marvelous sing-along. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Minho Waltz because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Setting Sail/Muineira De Frexido it becomes nowhere more obvious that Linda Ronstadt has yet to define own style. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Santiago De Cuba one of the best in my collection. I like the agression and power of Galleguita/Tutankhamen. Tears Of Stone one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Linda Ronstadt sings his heart out in Dublin In Vigo.
