It has been eight years Los Askis’ last studio CD, “Cuando Llega El Amor” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There were many famous songs of Los Askis available. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Los Askis comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I greatly enjoyed this CD.

Cuando Llega El Amor is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Mi Secreto Amor can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Los Askis is all about. Cuando Un Amor Se Va is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Cuando Llega El Amor have ended. Cuando Llega El Amor couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Dejaras. A great put together song. Te Extrano - A classic Los Askis track. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Desde Lejos is a great opener for Cuando Llega El Amor. Although Sigues Siendo Mia is very melodic it is far from sad. Los Askis is one of artists that allow his songs like Vas A Sufrir to stand on their own and be heard. The sound in Amame is really warm and Los Askis’s signature voice is still very much present.
