This disc has all of the essential Ludovico Einaudi classics. When you buy a Ludovico Einaudi album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the first studio album from Ludovico Einaudi since bad diagnosis in 1997. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Calore
is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen.
The sound in Calore is really warm and Ludovico Einaudi’s signature voice is still very much present. Moto is really the reason why I recommend buying Stanze. Calmo had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Vocals of Ludovico Einaudi in Vega really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Onda is a cool sing-along. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Contatti. Respiro is one of the best records ever. Lento is probably one of Ludovico Einaudi’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. I like the agression and power of Attesa. Simple and heartfelt closing track Cadenza closes Stanze on a high note. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Moto Perpetuo to me is the best you can get from Ludovico Einaudi. Cerchio is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Ritorno - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. A fantastic track full of wonder.
