When you buy a Mad Professor and Lee Scratch Perry album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Mad Professor and Lee Scratch Perry has. Dub Take the Voodoo Out of Reggae carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Mad Professor and Lee Scratch Perry is one of my favourite bands of all time.
After you’ve listened to , most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
You can find feelings on this piece of art. BOUNCE BACK DUB is one of the best records ever. DUB VOODOO - For me, this is the best of the album. SHADOW OF DUB is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Music of MYSTIC POWERS OF DUB is gentle, never overbearing. ARKWELL DUB is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. DUB CONNECTION - My least favorite song on this album. MESSY DUB APARTMENT is really the reason why I recommend buying Dub Take the Voodoo Out of Reggae.
