It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Madball energies, virtually a rebirth. It has been three years Madball’ last studio CD, “Set It Off” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album has some very good songs like Set It Off and Lockdown. Check it every song is worth the money for the Set It Off CD!
I now have as one of my personal favorites.
Lockdown - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Lyrics of New York City are precise and evocative. Never Had It is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. It’s Time is outstanding work of Madball. C.T.Y.C. (R.I.P.) very upbeat. Across Your Face is a fine track on any terms. A unique and uplifting song. I like to sing along with Spit On Your Grave, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. In Face To Face the music gets its power. Smell The Bacon (What’s With You?) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Madball sings his heart out in Get Out. The World Is Mine is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. After you’ve listened to Friend Or Foe, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
