Marty Friedman had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Marty Friedman, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. After seeing Rock Box, I had to have a good Marty Friedman cd. One of Marty Friedman’s best albums yet.

Espionage is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after True Obsessions have ended. Voice of Marty Friedman in Last September is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Intoxicated. No Marty Friedman song has come close to capturing my attention as Shine On Me did. Hands of Time has a fun tempo. Rio has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Live And Learn pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I can’t stop humming along Glowing Path. The Yearning is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
