For older fans Power Trip will put a massive smile accross your face. Power Trip isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is the first studio album from MC5 since bad diagnosis in 1994. This is my first MC5 Album and i must say i am blown away.

I’m Mad Like Eldridge Cleaver is one of the more up-tempo songs on Power Trip. Music of Black To Comm is gentle, never overbearing. The Pledge Song presents the astounding mix of instruments on Power Trip. Head Sounds ( Part Two) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Listening to Powertrip you can hear that MC5 has still amazing chemistry with band members. I Put A Spell - arguably the best track on Power Trip album. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Born Under A Bad Sign from the beginning to the end. In I Want You full palet of sound is used by MC5 to accentuate the presentation.
