Melissa Manchester’s debut, ‘If My Heart Had Wings’, does not fit easily into one genre. I am not a real Vocal music type of person, but i have to admit ‘If My Heart Had Wings’ really is amazing. This album has some very good songs like The House That Love Built and In A Perfect World. This album is awesome.

From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. After few listenings I started to like If My Heart Had Wings more and more. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think To Be In Love With Me is my favorite song on If My Heart Had Wings. Here To Love You one of the best in my collection. Higher Ground one is one of the better boring ones. Crazy People stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Strong, powerful vocals of Melissa Manchester in Moments Like This are very impressive. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
