Melt Banana was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Melt Banana and Speak Squeak Creak together. This disc has all of the essential Melt Banana classics. After seeing Tail In Garbage (Tekepake), I had to have a good Melt Banana cd. Last Hot Album by Melt Banana
is a very catchy tune.
Bragg is astounding song though, very addictive. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Scrubber is a bit of a show-tune. So Unfilial Rule gives taste of what makes Melt Banana special as a musician. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. It’s a great pleasure to listen to A Teaspoon Of Salt from the beginning to the end. Stick Out - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The sound in Mouse Is A Biscuit is really warm and Melt Banana’s signature voice is still very much present. All of songs on Speak Squeak Creak and have something to say letting alone 55 Hands Need To Cut Down. P-Pop-Slop is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Switch is my favorite song on Speak Squeak Creak. Melt Banana is one of artists that allow his songs like P.B.D. to stand on their own and be heard. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Cry For More Fish had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Screw, Loose is probably the most interesting track on Speak Squeak Creak. Cook Cool Kyau Kuru marked the continuation of Melt Banana in style evolution. Scissor Quiz sets the tone for the entire album. Too Many To Dispose has a fun tempo. Blandished Hatman motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. After you’ve listened to Cut Off, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Pierced Eye one of the best in my collection. (Untitled) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
