Self-described as New Age with lots of words, Michael Maxwell comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. For older fans Stream Of Dreams will put a massive smile accross your face. Since completing 1997’s ‘Morning Light’, Michael Maxwell fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Stream Of Dreams constantly brilliant.

Sheltered Shore is probably one of Michael Maxwell’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Pool Of Mirrors is the song that really did it for me. Once you hear The Repose, you will listen to it over and over. Quiet Longing is a exquisite, simple song by Michael Maxwell at the top of his game. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is After The Rain because the melody in the chorus is so good. Streaming is one of my favorite songs by Michael Maxwell.
