N.A.O.S. had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. fifteen years ago, N.A.O.S. briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Occultica”. Melancholia carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. One of N.A.O.S.’s best albums yet.
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
The first time I listened to Occultica I was struck by its gorgeous sound. The King Is Dead make listening to N.A.O.S. like being in some sort of time warp. To Hell With The Devil is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Shaman’s Tears is the funkiest number on the album. I believe I Bleed (Stygmata Martyr) is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. Ourovoros as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Once Iron Youth gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The Vampire Weeps is a fine track on any terms.
