‘The Closing Chronicles: The Breathing Shadow Part II’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. While no new Nightingale album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Africa. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Nightingale energies, virtually a rebirth. The Closing Chronicles: The Breathing Shadow Part II touched my soul like nothing else.

One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Revival. Thoughts From A Stolen Soul is a strong cut, one of many. So Long (Still I Wonder) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Music of Steal The Moon is gentle, never overbearing. This song may be the most meaningful. Alive Again ( I. The Release II. Shadowland Revisited III. Breathless ) is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
