While no new Nina Hagen album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Africa. Abgehaun (3:41) - awsome. Elefantengott Jai Ganesh very upbeat. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Nina Hagen sings his heart out in Geburt. Gloria Halleluja Amen is worth the money. Kunst is one of the coolest songs Nina Hagen has ever recorded. Opening track Lass Mich In Ruhe! shows the best of Nina Hagen. Reisenschritt - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Music of Sonntagmorgen is gentle, never overbearing. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Freud Euch is Stacheldraht. Sternmadchen is another strong production from Nina Hagen. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Freud Euch. Wende is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Musically Zero Zero U.F.O. is superior to other tracks in Freud Euch.
