When you buy a N.P.G. album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Now signed to N.P.G.’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Gold nigga” leads N.P.G.’s back-to-school campaign. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for N.P.G.’s new album to that on ‘Gold nigga’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If I may, I suggest “Goldnigga Pt. 1″. That one song is amazing!
Don’t judge on the first listening.
Guess who’s knockin’ - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Oilcan stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Segue makes a person feel exquisite. Deuce & a quarter is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Segue is a song to enjoy for years to come. Black M.F. in the house - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I have all of N.P.G.’s tracks and Goldnigga Pt. 2 is probably the most his introspective effort. Goldies parade is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Segue is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. I like the idea behind 2gether. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Segue. Call the law is a bit different from N.P.G. stereotypical stuff. Johnny one of the best in my collection. Segue is marvelous work of N.P.G.. Goldnigga Pt. 3 good vocals.
