This album has some very good songs like Huckleberry Grove and The Clock Struck 15 Hours Ago. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ocean Colour Scene energies, virtually a rebirth. This is one of the best Cd’s Ocean Colour Scene has dropped to date. Overall, I would highly recommend B-Sides - Seasides and Freerides CD.

The Clock Struck 15 Hours Ago is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Charming song, great melody. Opening track Chicken Bones And Stones shows the best of Ocean Colour Scene. Cool Cool Water is perfect. Charlie Brown Says is one of the best records ever. You have to get essence of the Day Tripper’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Beautiful Losers is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Mrs Jones - For me, this is the best of the album. Only one song from B-Sides - Seasides and Freerides named Top Of The World really got me. Once you hear Here In My Heart, you will listen to it over and over. I Wanna Stay Alive With You is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. After about the third Chelsea Walk listen through, I began to believe this song is Ocean Colour Scene’s essence. Outside Of A Circle is a bit of a show-tune.
