This album has some very good songs like Queen Of The Blossoms and Fairy By The Moonlight. This is one of the best Cd’s Oliver Shanti has dropped to date. Oliver Shanti’s debut, ‘Buddha and Bonsai, Vol. 1′, does not fit easily into one genre. I wish that “Buddha and Bonsai, Vol. 1″ album was instrumental.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
Fairy By The Moonlight is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Within the first few notes of Spring Tea Ceremony it’s perfectly clear that Oliver Shanti is living this song. Bi-Luo-Chun Tea Ceremony make listening to Oliver Shanti like being in some sort of time warp. The Unwordly Beauty is a cool song and it grows on you. The sound of Tie-Luo-Han is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Buddha and Bonsai, Vol. 1. Best song on the album, love it. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Oliver Shanti.
