I am not a real Metal: Death,Black music type of person, but i have to admit ‘A Long Journey’ really is amazing. For older fans A Long Journey will put a massive smile accross your face. Lead single “Enter The Darkest Thoughts Of The Chosen / Agony’s Silent Paradise” and “Castle Of No Repair / Lies From A Blackened Heart” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It is very deep stuff - very exciting

Castle Of No Repair / Lies From A Blackened Heart is a bit of a show-tune. Little Child Of Light / Degradation Of Holiness is a bit different from Ophthalamia stereotypical stuff. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in A Long Journey. Opening track Myself / Dreaming shows the best of Ophthalamia. Intro - A Cry From The Halls Of Blood / Empire Of Lost Souls - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Ophthalamia. After about the third Shores Of Kaa-Ta-Nu / The Eternal Walk Pt. II listen through, I began to believe this song is Ophthalamia’s essence. This Is The Pain Called Sorrow / To The Memory Of Me - This one is lively and fun. Outro - I Summon Thee Oh Father / Death Embrace Me is another strong production from Ophthalamia. Sons Of Satan is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
