O.Pogudin’s debut, ‘Lermontov’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lermontov carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On the England charts, superstar O.Pogudin’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Check it every song is worth the money for the Lermontov CD!

Once Parus gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Music in Slyshu li golos tvoi is gorgeous as in all tracks of Lermontov. Kazachia kolybelnaia pesna is almost impossible to review. Once you hear Zoltyi list o stebel biotsa, you will listen to it over and over. U vrat obiteli sviatoi (2:04) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Don’t judge Net ne teba tak pylko ia lublu on the first listening. All of songs on Lermontov and have something to say letting alone Utes. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Portret is marvelous song though, very addictive. This track is clearly meant to showcase O.Pogudin’s vocal abilities. When listening to Molitva (ia mater bozia…), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. The opening track Molitva (V minutu zizni trudnu…) is very much like you would expect from other albums. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
