While no new Orbital and Michael Kamen album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in Africa. Since completing 1997’s ‘Engineering’, Orbital and Michael Kamen fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Orbital and Michael Kamen last CD (Event Horizon) on Sparrow Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is in perfect progression from Orbital and Michael Kamen!
This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Event Horizon.
Event Horizon is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. The Forward Decks is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. The Main Access Corridor presents the perfect mix of instruments on Event Horizon.
