Look Under My Bed is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Otis Spann rocks harder than ever with Tribute To Matin Luther King. One listen to the sheer beauty of Sarah Street was all I needed. Music and lyrics of Worried Life Blues creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Kansas City, which shows, blatantly, how much Otis Spann has evolved as a singer. This is one hell of a track. 5 Long Years is one of the best records ever. Live The Life I Love is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Overall a nice softer song. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is High Rising because the melody in the chorus is so good. This track is full of harmonies and gets Live Is Life (With Muddy Waters And His Band) (1964-1968) off to a relaxing start. Album opener What’s On Your Worried Mind is a bright, upbeat ditty. Otis Spann sings Mean Old Train in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. My Baby Left Me is the albums biggest surprise.
