Since completing 1996’s ‘Textuell’, Oval fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Now signed to Oval’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Systemisch” leads Oval’s back-to-school campaign. Oval was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Oval and Systemisch together. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Systemisch.

A fantastic track full of wonder. I believe The Politics Of Digital Audio is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Schoner Wissen - A strong beat. Lyrics of Catchy DAAD are precise and evocative. Mediaton is the more seemingly obscure song on Systemisch that bear up best to repeated listening. Tonregie is beautiful, yet underrated track. Oval Office is another favourite of mine. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Post-Post is a great opener for Systemisch. In Gabba Nation you won’t find any flashy solos.
