While no new Timo Tolkki album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in Europe. I am not a real Metal: Power music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Classical Variations and Theme’ really is amazing. Timo Tolkki was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Timo Tolkki and Classical Variations and Theme together. Lord Of The RingsInstr and Fire Dance Suite is really good.
Timo Tolkki is hitting on all cylinders in .
I can’t stop humming along Fire Dance Suite. Vocals of Timo Tolkki in Guitar Concerto. really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. When listening to Northern LightsInstrumental, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Back To The Ice AgeInstr is Timo Tolkki’s best work in years. I like the agression and power of Death Of A SwanInstrumental. Soldiers Prayer presents the astounding mix of instruments on Classical Variations and Theme. No Timo Tolkki song has come close to capturing my attention as Flying SamirInstrumental did. If you are a Timo Tolkki fan, you will love SunwindsInstrumental. GreensleevesInstrumental stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.

Sky Lark was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Sky Lark and After The Storm together. Since completing 1997’s ‘Fine Kleine Nachmusik k525′, Sky Lark fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is one of the best Cd’s Sky Lark has dropped to date. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
Nice and different song. Although Was Called Empire is very melodic it is far from sad. I was truly moved when I heard Albatros On Sea.

It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Symphony X energies, virtually a rebirth. This album has some very good songs like Pharaoh and The Eyes Of Medusa. eight years ago, Symphony X briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Eyes Of Medusa”. To me Symphony X is the best band ever.
It’s such an underrated song.
The Eyes Of Medusa is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Some of the arrangements found on The Divine Wings Of Tragedy are surprisingly edgy. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Sea Of Lies. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Out Of The Ashes. Of Sins And Shadows is the albums biggest surprise. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. The Divine Wings Of Tragedy without a doubt is the standout song of The Divine Wings Of Tragedy. The Witching Hour is marvelous and different song.

Pink Martini was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Pink Martini and Sympathique together. For older fans Sympathique will put a massive smile accross your face. This is the first studio album from Pink Martini since bad diagnosis in 1997. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is No Hay Problema
gives taste of what makes Pink Martini special as a musician.
The sound in No Hay Problema is really warm and Pink Martini’s signature voice is still very much present. Song Sympathique is actually a funny song. First time I heard Que Sera Sera was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Once you hear La Soledad, you will listen to it over and over. I was truly moved when I heard Donde Estas, Yolanda?. Andalucia is a very catchy tune. Song Of The Black Lizard is pretty funky and mellow. Never On Sunday has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Platero Y Tu’s new album to that on ‘A Pelo CD1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. For older fans A Pelo CD1 will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing A un tipo listo, I had to have a good Platero Y Tu cd. A Pelo CD1 is not something you should pass up.
This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
Un ABC sin letras - For me, this is the best of the album. There is cool mix of music in Ramon. Within the first few notes of Bobo it’s perfectly clear that Platero Y Tu is living this song. Tras la barra is really the reason why I recommend buying A Pelo CD1. When listening to Por fin…!!!, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. The opening track Voy a acabar borracho is very much like you would expect from other albums. Juliette stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Esa chica tan cara is the more seemingly obscure song on A Pelo CD1 that bear up best to repeated listening. Me dan miedo las noches is one of the best records ever. Steve Hackett is hitting on all cylinders in Here I Wait. You have to get essence of the Prizefighters’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Imagining motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Hackett To Bits is pretty funky and mellow. Spectral Mornings - A classic Steve Hackett track. Musically I Know What I Like is superior to other tracks in Gtr Live. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Pennants is simply marvelous. Roundabout as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The Hunter - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Mogwai’s album 4 Satin EP falls to No. 2 with 716,000, a sales slide of 79%. This is one of the best Cd’s Mogwai has dropped to date. While no new Mogwai album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in South America. IF you love Mogwai, ‘4 Satin EP’ Mp3’s is the best!
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
I’ve found myself listening to Stereodee back to back and back many times.

It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Labradford energies, virtually a rebirth. Mi Media Naranja isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Labradford to take a stab at ‘S’ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Labradford rocks harder than ever with .
The opening track G is very much like you would expect from other albums. First time I heard Wr was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.C on Mi Media Naranja is solid and easy to listen to. What sets I apart is Labradford’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. V defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. P sets the tone for the entire album.

Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Acid House Kings’s new album to that on ‘Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I am not a real Indie music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition)’ really is amazing. It has been fourteen years Acid House Kings’ last studio CD, “Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition)” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Acid House Kings “Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition)” is an amazing album.
Music of is gentle, never overbearing.
This And That is another strong production from Acid House Kings. The song feels complete. Family Friend pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Music in Yes! You Love Me is astounding as in all tracks of Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition). From The Notes I’ve Made So Far is a medium tempo tune. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition). …But I Was Wrong on Advantage Acid House Kings (Japanese Edition) is solid and easy to listen to. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Once you hear Paris (Bonus Track), you will listen to it over and over.

Jim O’rourke had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Jim O’rourke, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like There’s Hell in Hello, But More in Goodbye and 94 the Long Way. Last Hot Album by Jim O’rourke
Once gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
94 the Long Way had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Bad Timing is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.

This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Laika and The Cosmonauts has. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Laika and The Cosmonauts. There were many famous songs of Laika and The Cosmonauts available. Overall, I would highly recommend Absurdistan CD.
Laika and The Cosmonauts emotions are reflected through .
Turquoise is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Blew our minds when we first heard Look! No Head!. The sound in The Hypno-wheel is really warm and Laika and The Cosmonauts’s signature voice is still very much present. Boris the Conductor is one of my favorite songs by Laika and The Cosmonauts. Lands End is nothing but pure genius. I listened to the opening track Circumstantial Evidence and liked it a lot. The Freefaller is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Syncophant have really caught my ear and imagination. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Hi & Lo is probably the most interesting track on Absurdistan. Although Nanaki is very melodic it is far from sad. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.

‘Live At Can-Zine Fest’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Since completing 1997’s ‘Nothings Alrite’, Godspeed You Black Emperor! fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Godspeed You Black Emperor! had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album is a scorcher!
From the moment you listen to you’re hooked.
The Dead Flag Blues is just simply stunning. The Boy - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Godspeed You Black Emperor!. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Dead Methany - I just love it. Manufactured Loops great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Live At Can-Zine Fest is Kicking Horses. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Fu Manchu energies, virtually a rebirth. Now signed to Fu Manchu’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Action Is Go” leads Fu Manchu’s back-to-school campaign. IF YOU LIKE ALL Fu Manchu’S SONG GO FOR IT! One of Fu Manchu’s best albums yet.
is a good listen every once in a while.
Urethane still maintains something of a specific flourish. The Action is Go is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Burning Road is Fu Manchu’s best work in years. Guardrail - a classic song. Anodizer as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Trackside Hoax is almost impossible to review. You have to get essence of the Unkown World’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Although Hogwash is very melodic it is far from sad. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Fu Manchu is one of artists that allow his songs like Strolling Astronomer to stand on their own and be heard. Saturn III is one of these floating songs. Nothing Done - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This track is full of harmonies and gets Action Is Go off to a relaxing start.

It has been fourteen years Joseph Arthur’ last studio CD, “Big City Secrets” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Joseph Arthur energies, virtually a rebirth. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Joseph Arthur’s new album to that on ‘Big City Secrets’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This album is in perfect progression from Joseph Arthur!
In Joseph Arthur is at his best.
Mercedes is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Joseph Arthur sings Mikel K in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Music in Good About Me is astounding as in all tracks of Big City Secrets. Daddy’s On Prozac is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Once Marina gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Birthday Card - I just love it. Crying Like A Man is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Porcupine because the melody in the chorus is so good. Dessert is almost impossible to review. Haunted Eyes is a medium tempo tune. Joseph Arthur breathes new life into the music in Bottle Of You.

This album has some very good songs like Polythene Girl and My Perfect Day. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Feeder energies, virtually a rebirth. Polythene carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album is in perfect progression from Feeder!
as a highlight of Polythene contains a ton of gorgeous melodies.
Still going through Polythene and coming to appreciate My Perfect Day more and more with every listen. Cement is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Feeder must have run out of lyrics on the next track Crash. Radiation is the most memorable and marvelous. Suffocate - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Descend is one of my favorite songs by Feeder. I have all of Feeder’s tracks and Stereo World is probably the most his introspective effort. Tangerine is a medium tempo tune. Waterfall stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. 20Th Century Trip is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Feeder ever produced.

On Buried Treasure album, Erasure have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Erasure’s debut, ‘Buried Treasure’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “Top Of The Pops Theme” and “Always [acoustic]” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is in perfect progression from Erasure!
is one of my favorite songs by Erasure.
This song may be the most meaningful. Sono Luminus [demo] - A nice song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Rock Me Gently [demo] is the most memorable and excellent. My Foolish Heart [live] - Erasure first major hit. Blues for Celia (Cee Cee’s Blues) is a bit of a show-tune. Decembers bicycle on A Town Called Earth is solid and easy to listen to. A town called earth is worth the money. Toys R Us to me is the best you can get from Greyboy Allstars. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on A Town Called Earth is Quantico VA.. Happy friends - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
Morning Prayer is almost impossible to review. Voice and instruments in Vilage Life complement each other. Slow Train gives good insight into the truths. Santura is the song that really did it for me. Put Zar Gul into car stereo for your highway driving |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. I was truly moved when I heard Hunting Chant. The Chase is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Maila hits the heart. IF YOU LIKE ALL Mike Shean and Linus Project’S SONG GO FOR IT! After seeing Opening, I had to have a good Mike Shean and Linus Project cd. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Mike Shean and Linus Project comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. The Earth is not something you should pass up.
is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Earth have ended.
As always, Mike Shean and Linus Project’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in The Earth. One listen to the sheer beauty of Between Hopes And Dreams was all I needed. Save The World marked the continuation of Mike Shean and Linus Project in style evolution. Introduce Theme Transition is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. The Fall on The Earth is solid and easy to listen to. Dance Of Godness is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.

to the beat (alternate) is one of these floating songs. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. freestyle - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Song eyes up is actually a funny song. This is probably my favorite song on the album. I hope to keep hearing Slum Village works for a long time to come. In keep it on (alternate beat) Slum Village is at his best. fantastic interlude ii (0:51) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! you know what love is (alternate) I just LOVE this mix! forth & back (alternate) is almost impossible to review. Vocals of Slum Village in freestyle really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. As always, Slum Village’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Music in feelings is astounding as in all tracks of Fantastic Vol.1. So much energy, so exciting a sound.A unique and uplifting song. The sound of studio interlude is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. i dont know (cut) sets the tone for the entire album. keep it on is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Slum Village released so far. fantastic interlude 1 is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Slum Village ever produced.

When you buy a Daylight album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like Fantasy and Memories Of Time. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Daylight comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Dance is the best essence of Daylight.
As always, Daylight’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This song may be the most meaningful. Galactic is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Sequental Trip very upbeat. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Daylight. Logical is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Dance couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Antartica. Daylight must have run out of lyrics on the next track Conquest Of Paradise. Pulstar is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
